HYPERS CEO Brent Yuan Invited to Attend 2026 Davos World Economic Forum

The World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2026 opened in Davos, Switzerland. This year's forum theme is "The Spirit of Dialogue". Nearly 3,000 representatives from more than 130 countries and regions across different fields will discuss important issues in politics, economy and technology. This includes high-level political leaders from various countries, 1,700 business leaders and hundreds of CEOs from top companies, as well as about 100 leaders from leading unicorn companies and technology pioneer enterprises.
On the afternoon of January 20, Mr. Brent Yuan, as the CEO of HYPERS, a pioneering enterprise in China's AI technology field, was invited to attend the Davos Forum and participated in a roundtable discussion themed "AI: strategy, practice & collaboration" together with guests including James Rubin, project leader from Google Gemini, and Gunjan Bhardwaj, CEO of PartexAI.
Mr. Brent Yuan shared with the audience the development of China's AI technology and HYPERS' implementation experience in the AI field.
"We are in an era of high uncertainty."
Mr. Brent Yuan believes that on one hand, artificial intelligence is approaching the critical development stage of general intelligence at an unprecedented speed; on the other hand, the existing global political, economic and technological order is undergoing structural reshaping. The simultaneous occurrence of technological leaps and order reconstruction makes sustainable development more complex. The evolution of large models is promoting widespread democratization of information and tool capabilities, but in enterprise practice, we clearly see that cognition is becoming a new scarce resource.
As Mr. Brent Yuan analogized, when everyone can use a calculator to take an exam, the questions will inevitably move up as a whole, and what ultimately distinguishes people is no longer tools, but understanding, judgment and cognitive ability. Today, on one hand, enterprises use AI to replace a large number of junior positions, but on the other hand, they cannot find talents who can truly master AI, and lack systematic training mechanisms. This means that the key to sustainable development is shifting from "technology and resources" to "cognitive ability itself". Only by promoting cognitive co-construction of enterprises, society and education systems on the basis of information democratization can we find a long-term sustainable development path in an era of high uncertainty.
As a pioneering enterprise in China's AI technology field, HYPERS has always adhered to the concept of "Technology for Good".
